How to make a good feature request
- One feature per topic — easier to discuss, easier to vote
- Title = the feature: “Apple Watch live preview”, “Export events as MP4”, etc.
- Body: what you want, the situation it’d help with, and (if you have one) how you imagine it working
How we respond
Within a few days you’ll see a tag from the team:
[Considering]— interesting, on the mental list, no commitment yet[Planned]— we’re going to build this; rough timeline in the reply[Won't build]— we explain why; sometimes the answer is “this is what Premium tier X does”, sometimes “this conflicts with our privacy stance”[Already exists]— we link to where the feature lives
Voting
Tap the heart icon on a topic to vote. We use this signal a lot when prioritizing — popular ideas get attention faster, but we still build things that have only one or two votes if they fit the product direction.
Honest framing
We’re a tiny team. Even good ideas can wait a long time. We’d rather under-promise and ship the right things slowly than promise everything and ship a watered-down version of half. Thanks for understanding.
